Today Basketball NSW signed up in support of the Marriage Equality campaign, standing proudly beside other non-profit organisations calling for marriage equality.
To date over 600 corporations have chosen to support marriage equality and we congratulate Basketball Australia, National Basketball League for doing the same. Basketball NSW is listed under the non-profit section of their website.
We as a sport believe in equal rights for all Australian’s and that every Australian deserves dignity and respect, nobody should be treated as lesser under the law because of their sexual orientation or their gender identity.
