The 2018 Under-18 Australian Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup have come to a close with the eight-day competition showing that development in Australia is at an all-time high.
The eight-day tournament saw a total of 120 games played across the three competitions hosted by Geelong, Victoria.
Unfortunately, none of our NSW teams collected a medal, however, our U18 NSW Country Women and Kevin Coombs Cup side collected a 4th place finish, our U18 NSW Metro Women and Men both finished on 5th, while our U18 NSW Country Men ended the tournament in 12th position.
WA Metro claimed the U18 Men’s Gold Medal and VIC Metro won the U18 Women’s Gold as well as Victoria claiming the Kevin Coombs Cup.
Basketball NSW would also like to thank all participants, coaches, officials, volunteers, staff and parents for another successful Championship.
