The Assist All Hoops Program has been specifically designed for young people with an intellectual impairment while mirroring Basketball NSW’s existing offerings.
Our program offers participants the opportunity to participate at the grassroots level, builds capacity through upskilling parents, carers, and community members to coach and referee, and nurtures talent through a clear pathway.

Basketball NSW partnered with the team from Sports 4 All, through this MOU we are mutually focused on increasing the number of people who are intellectually impaired or have a formal diagnosis of Autism, ASD or Aspergers’s syndrome to participate in basketball.
After a successful Assist All Hoops pilot program, we further collaborated with 4Titude in refining the coaches’ lesson plans, along with holding a school gala day.
