In 2018 we hosted the innaugural East Coach Challenge Coaches Clinic with current Melbourne United Assistant Coach and Australian U17 Boy’s Head Coach.

In 2019 we have been fortunate enough to secure another high level clinician to present at the ECC Coaches Clinic.

On Thursday the 10th of January 2019, Marty Clarke from the NBA Global Academy will be our keynote clinician; Coach Clarke has a wealth of basketball experience under his belt and before his time at the NBA Global Academy he was an Assistant Coach with US College team St Marys, was the Head Coach with the Adelaider 36ers, and was the Head Coach of the boys basketball program at the AIS.

On Monday the 14th of January 2019, David Herbert from Geelong Basketball will be the keynote clinician for the annual Tasman Coaches Clinic at the 2019 Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup.

Coach Herbert recently returned from the Under 18 Women’s Asian Championships where Australia won a bronze medal. He is also the current Director of Pathways & Development for Basketball Geelong, as well as being the Head Coach of the Geelong Lady Supercats.
