11 NSW Athletes Selected for September National Performance Camp

Basketball NSW is pleased to announce the 11 athletes who will attend the National Performance Camp September 29 – October 2 at the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence on the Australian Institute of Sport campus in Canberra.

The athletes born in 2004 and 2005 have been identified at the recent Australian Under 18 Championships in Wyndham, along with performances in their high performance programs.

Selected athletes will attend the four-day National Performance Camp, where they will take part in a series of on-court sessions, scrimmages and education sessions and engaging with some of the leading coaches in the country.

The National Performance Camp, formerly known as the Australian Development Camp, has been a feature of the Australian basketball pathway for some 30 years and has had numerous NBA and WNBA athletes attend, including Lauren Jackson, Rebecca Allen, Elizabeth Cambage, Patty Mills, Aron Baynes and Joe Ingles.

The selected athletes for the camp are:

Tyrese Proctor – NBA Global Academy / Sutherland Basketball Association
Josh Dent Illawarra Basketball Association
James O’Donnell – Norths Basketball Association
Will Mortimore Maitland Basketball Association
Harry Evans –  Norths Basketball Association/Inner West Basketball Association
