Expressions Of Interest for the 2017/2018 State Performance Program have officially opened. This year athletes need to fill out the online form found below by the 20th of August to be eligible for selection into the program.
After a successful 2016/2017 cycle, the BNSW High-Performance Department is excited about the upcoming cycle and cannot wait to work with some of the states most talented & enthusiastic athletes.
The State Performance Program (SPP) is the second tier of the Basketball NSW High-Performance Program. The program exists to assist in identifying, developing, and preparing athletes in the Under 16 & Under 18 age group to represent New South Wales at the Australian Junior Championships.
A number of athletes involved in last year’s SPP cycle have gone on to represent Australia in junior national teams, invited to Basketball Australia Talent Identification Camps, and selected to represent NSW at the Australian Junior Championships.
Interested athletes are required to complete the online the expression of interest form HERE (EOI’s close Sunday 20th of August).
