The 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 East Finals are almost here, promising a day filled with thrilling basketball action. The event will take place on Saturday, 10th August, at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, with doors opening at 1:15 PM for the Women’s clash.

First up is the Women’s Grand Final, featuring the Newcastle Falcons against the Sutherland Sharks at 2:00 PM. Following this intense match, the Men’s Grand Final will see the Canberra Gunners face off against the Maitland Mustangs at 5:30 PM. Tickets for each game are sold separately at $20 each, plus GST, and are selling fast. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.

After each game, an on-court presentation will take place. Once the presentation is over, all attendees must exit the stadium. If you have tickets for both games, you will need to see BNSW staff (when asked to do so) to scan your ticket for the following game. This ensures a smooth transition and an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Women’s Game Entry Time for ticket holders: 1:15pm

Men’s Game Entry Time for ticket holders: 4:45pm approx

For those looking to enhance their game day experience, a variety of food trucks and a bar will be available on-site. Fans can also participate in activations throughout the day, making it a fun event for all ages. However, please note that parking at the venue is limited, so plan accordingly.

We are also excited to welcome Angus Wildblood as our Court Announcer for the afternoon. He will surely bring the energy and excitement to the crowd, enhancing the overall experience for all attendees.

In an effort to accommodate all fans, we are introducing a quiet zone for spectators with auditory issues and those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or auditory processing disorders. Tickets for this space are managed through a separate invoicing process. To request tickets for the quiet zone, please email Leaf at leaf.newman@bnsw.com.au. Basketball NSW may ask for additional information regarding the attendees’ needs to ensure the space is used appropriately. Attendees of the quiet zone are expected to follow the posted rules, and anyone not adhering to these guidelines may be removed.

Join us for a day of electrifying basketball, engaging fan activities, and memorable moments at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre on August 10th.

For those that can’t make the two games, both will be televised live thanks to Kayo Sports. We would like to thank Hamish Salburg & Lachlan France for commentating the Women’s Grand Final, followed by Caleb Fogarty & David Lane overseeing the Men’s game.

For more details and updates, keep an eye on the Basketball NSW website and our social media channels. We look forward to seeing you there!
