The 2024 Spalding Waratah Metro Junior League season came to a close, with the thrilling finale on July 28th, held at Hills Basketball Stadium and Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre.
With over 50 teams competing across 27 divisions, the finals were packed with intense action as teams battled it out to hold the title in each of their divisions. The atmosphere was palpable, demonstrating the hard work and dedication of all participants throughout the season.
Basketball NSW extends heartfelt thanks to the coaches, managers, technical officials, volunteers, delegates, athletes, and their parents/carers, whose commitment was vital to the season’s success. Special appreciation goes to the Hills Hornets Basketball Association, Penrith Basketball Association, as well as the staff and volunteers at both venues for their outstanding efforts in hosting an unforgettable finals weekend.
