The 2024 Spalding Waratah State Cup wrapped up with a thrilling weekend of finals, where the future stars of New South Wales basketball shone brightly from August 17-18.
Across eight divisions, 64 teams battled it out, showcasing their incredible talent, fierce determination, and true sportsmanship in a weekend where the best teams from our Southern, North-Eastern, Western and Metro Spalding Waratah Junior Leagues.
The energy was electric, reflecting the hard work and passion that every team brought to the court this season.
Basketball NSW extends its deepest gratitude to the coaches, managers, technical officials, volunteers, delegates, athletes, and their dedicated parents and carers. Your unwavering commitment was the backbone of this season’s success.
A special shoutout goes to Bathurst Basketball Association, Orange Basketball Association, and the incredible staff and volunteers who made the finals weekend at Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium and Sir Neville Howse Stadium an unforgettable experience. Your outstanding efforts ensured that everything ran smoothly and that everyone involved left with memories to cherish.
