Basketball NSW is pleased to announce that Cooper Crowe (Mudgee Lakers) and Isabel Morgan (Newcastle Falcons) have been named the 2025 recipients of the Commonwealth Games NSW (CGNSW) Athlete Grant Program.

The awards were officially presented over the weekend at the Basketball NSW State Performance Program Graduation Camp, with both athletes recognised for their outstanding commitment, development, and potential within the Basketball NSW High Performance pathway.

The CGNSW Athlete Grant Program aims to support emerging athletes in their sporting journeys by alleviating some of the financial pressures associated with high-level training and competition. As part of the 2025 program, both Crowe and Morgan will each receive a $1,000 grant to assist with their ongoing sporting development.

This marks the seventh edition of the CGNSW Athlete Grant Program, which first commenced in 2016. Commonwealth Games NSW remains committed to investing in young athletes who demonstrate the skill, determination, and spirit that embody the values of the Commonwealth Games movement.

Basketball NSW extends its congratulations to both athletes on their well-deserved recognition and thanks Commonwealth Games NSW for its continued support of basketball athletes across the state.
