After an action-packed season, the 2025 Waratah League and GTK Waratah Wheelchair League Powered by Wilson season has officially wrapped up, capped off by an unforgettable Finals Weekend on the Central Coast!
Over two days of fierce competition, 24 teams across eight divisions battled it out at Guzman y Gomez Stadium and Niagara Park Stadium for their shot at a championship. The weekend showcased some of the state’s best basketball talent, with 24 high-intensity games featuring everything from Youth divisions to the premier Waratah Men, Waratah Women, and Wheelchair competitions.
Basketball NSW extends a massive thank you to our Finals hosts, the Central Coast Crusaders and Central Coast Waves, as well as the staff and volunteers at both venues. From ticketing and logistics to court preparation, your hard work was key in ensuring a smooth and successful weekend of basketball.
We’d also like to recognise our league partners, GTK and Wilson, for their continued support of the Waratah and Wheelchair Leagues.
