The 2025 Waratah Junior Premier League & Under 12 State Championships wrapped up over the weekend, once again showcasing the incredible depth of basketball talent across New South Wales.
Across all divisions, athletes delivered standout performances and the competition not only highlighted the quality of play but also the passion and commitment that continues to drive the growth of basketball in the state.
Basketball NSW extends its heartfelt thanks to the coaches, managers, referees, technical officials, volunteers, and delegates whose dedication ensured the smooth and successful running of the championships. Their contribution both on and off the court remains invaluable to the game.
Basketball NSW would also like to express its appreciation to Hawkesbury Basketball Association, Penrith Basketball Association, and the hardworking stadium staff at Hawkesbury Basketball Stadium and Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre. Their organisation, commitment, and hospitality were instrumental in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for athletes, officials, and supporters. The collaborative effort between the associations and venue staff ensured the championships not only ran smoothly but also provided a welcoming environment that reflected the spirit of the game.
