The 2025 State Cup concluded over the weekend, highlighting the exceptional standard of basketball across New South Wales.

Throughout the competition, teams competed for State Cup honours in their respective divisions, delivering high-quality performances and demonstrating exemplary sportsmanship.

Basketball NSW extends its sincere appreciation to the coaches, managers, technical officials, referees, volunteers, and delegates whose dedication and professionalism were instrumental in the successful delivery of the event.

We also acknowledge and thank Shoalhaven Basketball Association, Illawarra Basketball Association along with Illawarra Sports Stadium for their outstanding efforts in hosting the 2025 State Cup. Their organisation, commitment, and hospitality ensured a positive experience for all athletes, officials, and spectators.

Basketball NSW would like to extend its thanks to the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Wollongong Tania Brown, Federal Member for Wollongong Alison Byrnes & Minister for Planning and Public Places and State Member for Wollongong Paul Scully for their time and support in assisting with several presentations on the Sunday at the Snakepit. Their presence and contribution added to the sense of celebration and community at the event.

We also gratefully acknowledge Destination Wollongong for their valued partnership in supporting the 2025 State Cup for our Under 12 and Under 14 competitions.
