Basketball NSW extends its congratulations and thanks to all the schools that participated in the 2026 Opens BNSW Schools Tournament. The tournament highlighted the immense depth of talent and sportsmanship by students from across New South Wales.
With the regional rounds now complete, the top-performing teams in Division 1 and Division 2 have earned their place at the 2026 Opens State Championships, set to be held at Hills Basketball Stadium on the 23rd-24th of June. The Championships promise two days of exciting, high-level basketball competition featuring some of the state’s brightest young players.

About the Schools Tournament:
The BNSW School Tournaments consist of regional tournaments for both Secondary and Primary Schools. These tournaments culminate in the top teams from each region competing at the State Championships where the best team from NSW will be crowned. These tournaments are open to all New South Wales schools.
