Basketball NSW is pleased to announce the eight teams and nine referees selected to represent New South Wales at the 2026 Australian Under-14 Club Championships, taking place in Willetton, Western Australia.
Co-hosted by Basketball Australia and Willetton Basketball Association, the championships will be held from Sunday 27th September to Friday 2nd October 2026, bringing together the nation’s best emerging club talent.
Recognised as Australia’s premier national tournament for Under-14 club teams, the event will feature 48 teams from across the country, comprising 24 boys’ teams and 24 girls’ teams, all competing for national championship honours.
Qualification for the championships is determined by each state’s pathway. In New South Wales, the top four boys’ teams and top four girls’ teams from the 2026 Junior Premier League (JPL) have earned their place through their performances during the season, securing the opportunity to compete on the national stage.

In addition to the teams, Basketball NSW is pleased to confirm the selection of nine referees from across both metro and country associations who will officiate during the tournament. Their involvement is a testament to the strength of NSW’s referee development programs.
