The 2026 Waratah Junior Premier League & Under 12 State Championships wrapped up over the weekend 31st July – 2nd August, once again showcasing the incredible depth of basketball talent across New South Wales.
Across all divisions, athletes delivered outstanding performances, with the championships highlighting not only the high standard of competition but also the commitment that continues to strengthen basketball across the state.
Basketball NSW extends its sincere thanks to all coaches, managers, referees, technical officials, volunteers and delegates whose dedication ensured another successful championship weekend. Their contribution both on and off the court is vital to the continued success of our game.
A special thank you also goes to Newcastle Basketball Association and Maitland Basketball Association, along with the venue staff at Newcastle Basketball Stadium and the MOJO Homes Centre. Their organisation and hospitality helped create a fantastic experience for players, officials, families and supporters throughout the weekend.
