Media Release: Basketball Australia
Basketball Australia, in partnership with Commonwealth Games Australia, has announced the Australian teams selected to compete at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, with four New South Wales athletes earning selection in the Australian squads.
The Australian 3×3 Gangurrus and Wombats wheelchair 3×3 teams will compete against the Commonwealth’s best in Glasgow, Scotland, from 24–29 July 2026.
Basketball NSW congratulates the following NSW representatives selected to represent Australia:
3×3 Gangurrus Women’s Team

Women’s Wombats Wheelchair 3×3 Team
- Hannah Dodd
- Georgia Munro-Cook
Men’s Wombats Wheelchair 3×3 Team
- Luke Pople
The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will feature both 3×3 basketball and wheelchair 3×3 basketball, with Australia set to challenge for medals across the six-day competition.
Competition begins on Friday 24 July and concludes with the medal games on Wednesday 29 July.
