Basketball NSW is pleased to welcome Helen Maree Rosenberg as Officiating Programs Coordinator.

Helen will design and coordinate the delivery of High Performance Programs to referees across the state. This will include our Junior Development Program, Advanced Referee Development Program and Advanced Referee Programs as well as a dedicated Female Officials Program.

Helen is suitably qualified for the role having been involved as part of the NSW officials community for many years and will bring an immense sense of experience to the role through her career in education in the school system as well as a High Performance Official. Most recently Helen was also appointed as one of the Wheelchair Basketball Referees at the 2020 Paralympics in Japan.

BNSW, Head of Technical Officials, Steve Clark extends his welcome to Helen and said she is set to play an important role in the rollout and delivery of programs for all officials.

“I would like to welcome Helen to our team and I know that Helen’s contribution will be very significant in the direction that we are taking officials at BNSW with an increased focus on Education and Development as well as a culture of High Performance,” said Clark.

“I am looking forward to working with Helen to achieve these aims as well as increasing the number of Technical Officials that we have at BNSW.”
