BASKETBALL NSW FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 2024 SPORT NSW COMMUNITY AWARDS

Sport NSW has unveiled the finalists for the highly anticipated 2024 Sports Foyer NSW Community Awards, and Basketball NSW is thrilled to announce its strong representation across multiple categories. The award winners will be celebrated in a ceremony at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on Wednesday, June 19th.

The following nominees from Basketball NSW have been recognised for their outstanding contributions:

Community Coach of the Year: Timothy Hill

Community Team of the Year: Illawarra U14 Girls Basketball Team

Inclusion Achievement of the Year: Basketball NSW

Young Official of the Year: Cooper Ellis

In addition to these nominations, Basketball NSW is proud to announce that BNSW Hall of Fame Member, John Martin, will be honoured with a distinguished Long Service Award. This accolade recognizes his exceptional service to sport over an impressive span of more than 25 years.

The awards ceremony promises to be a memorable evening, celebrating the achievements and contributions of those who have made a significant impact on their communities through sport.
