Basketball NSW is happy to announce that we will be commencing a new Metropolitan Development Program (MDP) in 2023 as part of our continuing efforts to help young basketballers grow and develop their skills before the representative season commences.
BNSW will be faclilitating MDP days throughout 2023 in various locations throughout NSW Metro areas to help support our Metro associations and provide more opportunities for young athletes to develop their fundamental skills and I.Q of the game.
The first “Prep for Rep” MDP day will be located at Camellia and is open to both male & female players in the following age groups: U14, U16, U18 (2006-2011).
The sessions are based around building your individual game for 2023 and will cover
– Ball handling, passing, Shooting, defence, footwork.
– 1v1
– Fastbreak and Team defence.
– 5v5
If you are looking to get ready for your 2023 season whether it be local competition, representative season or just dusting off the rust in your game these school holidays are perfect for you.
Our first MDP days will be Head Coached by Adam Marjoram along with other NSW network & association coaches.
