Basketball NSW is pleased to announce an extension of its partnership with Sportly for a further two-years following on from the previous 2 years.
Sportly is a platform custom designed for junior sporting associations, academies and schools to implement high performance programs, monitor athlete wellness and improve communication between coaches, athletes and their parents. Sportly compliments any face-to-face sports development program to ensure consistency of training, efficacy of coaching and welfare of the athletes involved. In short, Sportly helps accelerate the process of athletes’ progress.
Founder and CEO of Sportly, Damien Thomson was excited about the company’s ongoing relationship with BNSW.
“Having worked with BNSW for the past 2 years now, it has been fantastic to see them embrace the Sportly platform and challenge us as a partner to deliver solutions to support and progress their High Performance Program,” said Thomson.
“We have helped BNSW achieve incredible athlete engagement rates through Sportly, meaning coaches have better data and greater visibility of the overall wellbeing of their players and can make more informed adjustments to individual training programs as a result. We look forward to continuing this partnership and expanding our offering for all member delegates in NSW.”
Likewise, BNSW General Manager of Coaching and Development, Brett Coxsedge said he was thrilled with getting Sportly back on board.
“Damien and the team at Sportly have been great to work with over the past two years. The use of their App has allowed us to monitor the training loads of athletes, whilst also keeping an eye on their daily wellness,” said Coxsedge.
“From training programs to strength and conditioning exercises to communication tools, Sportly has all the tools necessary to allow us to provide a level of professionalism to our programs that will only make athletes and coaches better both on and off the court. We look forward to a productive partnership for years to come.”
