Basketball NSW is excited to announce the Harmony Week 3×3 Community Competition, a one-day event celebrating diversity, inclusion, and community through basketball. The competition will be held on Saturday, 14 March 2026, at Moore Park, Sydney, with sign-in from 9:00am and games starting at 9:30am.
Harmony Week, celebrated from 16–21 March, recognises Australia’s rich cultural diversity and promotes inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone. The theme, “Everyone Belongs,” reflects the nation’s commitment to a harmonious, multicultural society.
The 3×3 competition invites participants of all cultural backgrounds to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. The day offers friendly competition, community connection, physical activity, and fun for players, families, and spectators alike.
Event Schedule 14th March:
- 9:30am – 12:30pm: 3×3 Pool Games
- 10:00am – 12:00pm: Assist All Hoops Come ‘N’ Try session (No registration required)
- 3:00pm – 3:30pm: Closing Ceremony & Awards
Event Highlights:
- Divisions: Youth U14 & U18 (boys and girls), Open Women 30+, Open Men 35+, and Open Mixed 30+
- 3×3 Format: Minimum 4 teams per division; 10-minute games or first to 21 points; minimum 3 games per team
- Awards: Medals and trophies for division winners
- Activities: “Basketball Try Zone” for kids with shooting games and skill challenges
- Family-friendly setup: Bring tents, shade, food, and drinks for a picnic-style day

- Nomination Fee: $100 per team ($25 per player, up to 4 players per team)
