Country High Performance Coach, Curtis Sardi, recently conducted two high-class development clinics in Dubbo over two days on the 15th & 16th of May.
Sardi worked with 43 athletes and seven coaches over the two days, focusing on U12-14 & U16-18 development and skill improvement. Sardi also included a coaching workshop for coaches in the local area to attend which focused on improving communication and overall growth in the role.
Sardi said he was impressed by the high level of athletes that attended across the two days and hopes that the regional workshops will improve the growth of Basketball in country areas.
“It was wonderful to so many athletes in the Dubbo region attend the clinic and want to focus on acquiring new fundamental skills,” Sardi said.
“I was overall very impressed with the improvement a number of athletes demonstrated and I can’t wait to travel back to Dubbo to continue to run these workshops.”
Basketball NSW would like to say a huge thankyou for everyone that attended and participated in the clinics.
