Basketball New South Wales are pleased to announce that registrations for Developing Athlete Program trials have now opened.
The program is targeted at athletes aged between 13 and 17 who are not in the BNSW State Performance Program and is designed to help improve athletes skills as well as developing the ability to understand and execute team concepts.
The program will be run across Metro NSW through a variety of locations and the Western Sydney Academy of Sport will be delivering the DAP program in conjunction with the BNSW High Performance Department and the Hills, Blacktown & Penrith Basketball Associations for athletes within those areas. Athletes in regional NSW will be able to access this program through their closest Regional Academy of Sport. Please contact you nearest academy for more details.
This partnership will allow athletes access to high level coaching as well as education on a range of topics including strength and conditioning, nutrition and sports psychology.
