Important Notice – Hugh Boyd

We would like to formally advise the passing of Past President and Life Member of Murwillumbah Basketball Association, Hugh Boyd. Hugh was instrumental in building the association to dizzy heights in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s where MBA competed in numerous state titles and had record members. He even convinced a touring USA College team to play a game on our outdoor asphalt court.
 
His funeral details below;
 
Arlene, Sonia, Peter, Jodie & Nathan would like to advise our family & friends of the sad passing of Hugh William Boyd on 20th June 2016. Funeral details as follows…
Date: 24th June 2016
Time: 1pm
Where: St Josephs Catholic Church
Address: Francis Street, Tweed Heads
Followed by light refreshments at Cudgen Leagues Club. Wommin Bay Road, Chinderah.
