Basketball NSW is honoured to announce that the incomparable Megan Hustwaite will be hosting the 2022 State Conference and Hall of Fame Dinner as the Master of Ceremonies.
The Basketball NSW State Conference will be held from the 25-27th of November, at the Sydney Olympic Park Novotel with the evening of Saturday the 26th playing host to the Hall of Fame dinner in which the basketball community will celebrate the class of 2021 due to the postponement of last year’s event due to the pandemic.
Hustwaite is one of Australia’s most renowned sports journalists and presenters with nearly two decades of experience under her belt specialising in basketball. She has been a staple in promoting the sport on television, print and digital platforms such as Fox Sports, SBS along with extensive work with the Women’s National Basketball League and host of the NBL1 Show.
Basketball NSW, CEO, Maria Nordstrom said she was thrilled to have Hustwaite at the helm for BNSW’s most prestigious event, later this month.
“We are very lucky to have such a high caliber emcee such as Megan joining us for our State Conference and Hall of Fame dinner,” said Nordstrom.
“Megan has dedicated her professional career to highlighting every aspect of the sport, especially creating further media exposure for our females within basketball. She will certainly bring to life the stories and history of our inductees throughout the our Hall of Fame dinner along with bringing passion and enthusiasm to a range of topics within our State Conference as emcee.”
Basketball NSW will be welcoming six new inductees into the Hall of Fame along with elevating one member to Legend status.
