Basketball NSW is thrilled to announce the esteemed members of the Technical Officials Panel for the upcoming 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 East Grand Finals and National Finals.
This highly anticipated event, which brings together the best basketball talents from across the region, will take place this weekend, promising an unforgettable showcase of basketball.
Basketball NSW, Head of Technical Officials, Steve Clark emphasised the importance of the hard work of all the Officials during the 2024 season.
“I would like to congratulate all of our referees, Score Table Officials and Statisticians who have been selected for this weekend’s Grand Finals. It is a reflection on their consistency and hard work throughout the season,” said Clark.
“To our wider officiating community take pride in the fact that you have all ensured that the performances of our officials are second to none and you all have had a part to play in the officials who have been selected this weekend by pushing the standards and giving them the opportunity to represent you all in the games this weekend. To our Officiating community…we are one team.”

BNSW is also thrilled to announce that as of today, NBL1 has revealed the 2024 NBL1 National Finals Referee Panel, of which, five of our NBL1 East Referees have been selected. A very big congratulations to Bradley Mattioli, Marcus Hayden, Marko Nikolic, Michael Beevers and Nathan Paff, who will be heading to the Sunshine Coast next weekend to officiate the NBL1 National Finals.
The NBL1 east Grand Finals will take place on Saturday, 10th August, at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, with doors opening at 1:15 PM for the Women’s clash.
