Basketball Australia and the Centre of Excellence have announced the intake for the prestigious 2025 National Performance Camp (NPC), set to take place at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from January 21–24.
For over 30 years, the NPC has played a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of basketball talent in Australia. Alumni from this program include basketball greats such as Lauren Jackson, Penny Taylor, Steph Talbot, Patty Mills, Andrew Bogut, and Aron Baynes.
This January, a new wave of 50 promising athletes will train on the same courts that have shaped some of Australia’s most iconic players.
Among the athletes selected, Basketball NSW is proud to announce that seven rising athletes from New South Wales have earned their place at the camp:
Girls:
- Sienna Clark – Hills Hornets
Boys:
- Aki Langford – Illawarra Hawks
- Antonio Browne – Bankstown Bruins
- Austin Prosser – Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
- Bol Diing – Norths Bears
- Curtis Evic – Bankstown Bruins
- Jamaal Osikoya –Blacktown Storm
The 2025 camp promises to offer a transformative experience under the guidance of elite coaching staff. The panel will include Basketball Centre of Excellence Coaches, as well as High Performance and network coaches from across the country.
Leading the camp are David Herbert (COE Women’s Head Coach) and Robbie McKinlay (COE Men’s Head Coach), with Peter Lonergan, Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence and Performance Pathway General Manager, serving as the Camp Director.
