Basketball NSW is proud to recognise eight talented NSW athletes who have been invited to attend the U17 Oceania Cup Selection Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra next week.

Selected athletes:

  • Austin Prosser – Manly Warringah Sea Eagles

  • Bailey Hanson – Norths Bears

  • Bol Diing – Norths Bears

  • Curtis Evic – Bankstown Bruins

  • Jamaal Osikoya – Norths Bears

  • Kaila Proctor – Bankstown Bruins

  • Kira Juffermans – Coffs Harbour Suns

  • Rebecca Donnelly – Norths Bears

The week-long camp brings together Australia’s top emerging basketballers as they vie for selection to represent the country at the FIBA U17 Oceania Championships, to be held in Samoa from 8th–13th December 2025.

The FIBA U17 Oceania Cup plays a key role in developing the next generation of national team athletes, providing valuable international experience and competition exposure. The top two finishing teams will qualify for the 2026 FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup and FIBA Women’s Under 18 Asia Cup, continuing their pathway toward higher international representation.

Final team selections will be announced following the completion of the camp.

Basketball NSW congratulates all selected athletes and wishes them the best of luck.
