The National Indigenous Performance Camp (NIPC) tipped off over the weekend, bringing together 30 of the most talented young Indigenous athletes from across Australia for an intensive four-day experience at the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence.

Basketball NSW is proud to congratulate the five NSW athletes selected to attend this year’s camp: Tully Pickering (Newcastle Falcons), Lochy Nolan (Newcastle Falcons), Cooper Crowe (Mudgee Lakers), Josh Boyle (Sydney Comets) & Octavia Williams (Norths Bears).

Now in its second year, the NIPC offers participants the opportunity to take part in high-performance, on-court training sessions designed to enhance their basketball skills, as well as off-court cultural and connection activities aimed at fostering personal growth and community ties.

These athletes represent the next generation of Indigenous basketball talent in NSW, and their participation in the NIPC provides a valuable platform to develop their skills, learn from elite coaches, and connect with their cultural heritage.
