Basketball NSW would like to congratulate the following referees that have been selected to officiate and represent NSW at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC)  in Albury, January 2023.

The Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup is an exciting week-long tournament allowing the best junior basketball players, coaches, and referees from country Australia to compete against each other before the 2023 basketball season.

Selection to officiate at the ACJBC is a noteworthy achievement for all junior referees as it highlights the advancement on the referee pathway throughout Country NSW.

Also participating are a number of experienced Referee Educators who will continue to share their knowledge and skillsets with the latest up-and-coming referees.

Basketball NSW, Officiating Programs Coordinator, Helen Rosenberg said she is excited to see this group of young, talented referees reach their next step.

“This is a tournament that targets our country officials within NSW at the start of their elite officiating pathway and I am proud of the list of referees that will be representing our state in Albury,” said Rosenberg.

“The Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup is a great tournament to attend as everyone involved gains friendships, skills, resilience, education, and most importantly enjoy themselves in what we love doing which is being on court, officiating.”
