The NSW Sports High Schools association has joined forces Basketball NSW to tell their compelling story about the impact they will have on the development of elite basketball players in the future.

On the 4th September 2017, Maria Nordstrom, CEO of Basketball NSW with Mr. Roger Davis, President NSW Sports High School Association (SHSA) will launch the new partnership between theses organisations. Jason Cadee, former student will attend and is available for interview at the event.
“Partnering with the NSW SHSA will, without doubt, enhance the talented player pathway for Basketballers in NSW” said Maria Nordstrom. “We see huge benefit from the Sports High School model that combines high-quality education and coaching in a nurturing and supportive environment”
The partnership will include coach and player development, implementation of a fully supported high-performance curriculum and increased opportunities for talent identification.
Roger Davis has also acknowledged the importance of this partnership, “I am convinced that close collaboration with BNSW will absolutely increase the pool of talented basketballers in NSW. We know from experience that the holistic development of the student athlete at NSW Sports High Schools has significantly contributed to the development of some of Australia’s most elite sports stars”
