NSW TECHNICAL OFFICIALS SELECTED FOR U18 & JUNIOR WHEELCHAIR FOOTLOCKER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Basketball NSW is proud to acknowledge and congratulate the Technical Officials who have been selected to represent New South Wales at the upcoming U18 & Junior Wheelchair Footlocker National Championships in April in QLD.

These prestigious tournaments bring together the best junior basketball talent from across the country, and having highly skilled referees, referee coaches, scoretable officials, and statisticians is essential to ensuring the success of the event. The selected officials have demonstrated excellence in their respective roles at the state level and have now earned the opportunity to officiate at a national level.

U18 Championships – Technical Officials:
Yashar Ellin (Hornsby Ku-ring Gai Basketball)
Kaitlyn Neate (Bankstown Basketball )
Jakson Peach (Newcastle Basketball)
Blake Testoni (Griffith Basketball)
Joey Henderson (Goulburn Basketball)
Eloy D’Rozario (St George Basketball)
In addition, Ethan Tulk (ACT) has been appointed as a referee coach.

Junior Wheelchair Championships – Technical Officials:
Referee: Liam Flanagan (Bankstown Basketball)
Referee Coach: Helen Rosenberg (City of Sydney Basketball)

Scoretable & Statistician Appointments:
Scoretable Official: Kylie Montgomery (Penrith Basketball)
Statistician: Saskia Towers (St George Basketball) & Jessie Skeen-Fisher (Northern Suburbs Basketball)

Basketball NSW Head of Technical Officials, Steve Clark, commended the group on their selection and acknowledged the significant effort they have put in to reach this stage.

“Being appointed to officiate at a national championship is a significant achievement, and it is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and hard work of each of these officials,” said Clark.

“They have earned this opportunity through their commitment to learning, developing their skills, and performing at a high level. NSW has a proud history of producing top-tier officials, and we are confident that this group will continue that tradition. We wish them all the best and know they will do NSW proud.”

Basketball NSW extends its congratulations to all selected officials and wishes them success in their respective roles at the championships. 

The 2025 Foot Locker Under 18 & Junior Wheelchair National Championships will be held from Sunday 6th – Sunday 13th April and will be held at South Pine Sports Complex, 620 S Pine Rd, Brendale QLD 4500.
