Basketball NSW is delighted to announce that the 2025 State Conference and Hall of Fame Dinner will take place from 28–30 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal on the Central Coast. The event promises an engaging weekend of inspiration, strategic discussions, and recognition of excellence within our basketball community.
The State Conference will feature a comprehensive 2.5-day program, including keynote addresses, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. A key highlight will be the launch of the Basketball NSW 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, outlining the organisation’s vision for the next five years.
Social events will include a Welcome Party on Friday evening, the prestigious Hall of Fame Dinner on Saturday night, and the Annual Awards Function on Sunday, recognising exceptional contributions across the basketball community. Additionally, Metro and Country Forums will provide opportunities for stakeholders to collaborate and share insights into growing the game statewide.
Further details about the exciting lineup of special guest presenters, who will share their expertise and insights during the conference, will be announced in 2025.
2025 Hall of Fame Dinner
Taking centre stage on Saturday, 29 November 2025, the Hall of Fame Dinner will honour individuals who have made outstanding contributions to basketball in New South Wales. This elegant evening will celebrate the history and legacy of the sport while inspiring the next generation of players, coaches, and officials.
Additional information about the esteemed individuals being inducted into the Class of 2025, along with their remarkable contributions to basketball in New South Wales, will be shared in the coming year.
Basketball NSW, CEO Maria Nordstrom highlighted the importance and impact of the weekend events, highlighting its role in fostering growth, community engagement, and opportunities within the sport.
