Basketball NSW recently held its State Performance Program (SPP) Graduation Camp for the class of 2025.
The event, held at the Hills Basketball Stadium on April 26th and 27th was a fantastic opportunity to bring together the state’s most promising athletes and dedicated coaches. Over the two action-packed days, athletes were put through their paces on court under the guidance of an array of High Performance coaches.
In a first, the camp also saw the BNSW Wheelchair SPP squad in attendance for the duration of the camp, joining in the celebrations of the graduating class of 2025.
The presence of our esteemed guest coaches elevated the SPP Graduation Camp, enriching the experience for all involved. Their willingness to share their knowledge and expertise highlighted the strength of the basketball community in fostering talent and encouraging growth.

Reflecting on the camp’s success, Basketball NSW General Manager of Coaching and Development, Brett Coxsedge expressed his joy with how the SPP season was able to conclude on such a high note.
“The SPP Graduation Camp is more than just a celebration of our graduating class; it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and growth of each player. As they step into the next chapter of their basketball journey, we’re excited to see them take their skills to new heights, both on and off the court,” said Coxsedge.
“Programs like the SPP aren’t possible without the dedication and invaluable support of many individuals and associations. A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteer coaches, whose tireless efforts over the past 12 months have played a pivotal role in shaping the future stars of basketball in NSW.”
