U19 MEN’S EMUS ANNOUNCED FOR FIBA 2024 ASIA CUP

Basketball Australia has announced the 12-player team that will compete at the FIBA U18 Men’s Asia Cup in Jordan from 2 – 9 September.

Basketball NSW would like to congratulate Emmett Adair (Norths Bears/NBA Global) & Goc Malual (Blacktown Storm) on being selected in the team. Also a special mention to Head Coach Robbie McKinlay  &  Jacob Jackomas. 

The Emus will compete amidst a thriving pack of talent for FIBA Asia supremacy with a guaranteed ticket to the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup on the line.

The semi-finalists in this tournament will automatically qualify for the 2025 World Cup in Switzerland.

Australia have been drawn into Group A, alongside Chinese Taipei, Lebanon and Mongolia.
