Basketball NSW is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for athletes to trial for the U20 Men’s and Women’s State teams and the Ivor Burge Men’s and Women’s State teams.
Please note, an official online registration process will commence at a later date.
The purpose of the EOI is to determine what numbers of athletes are interested in trialling so the appropriate planning may take place in regards booking of training venues so COVID safety guidelines may be adhered to.
A date for the trials is yet to be determined due to the current recommendations put in place by the NSW Government. Basketball NSW will work with the appointed Head Coaches to determine a suitable trial date and preparation schedule, which will take into account the revised HSC dates and other possible commitments that the athletes may have.
In regards to the details of the Tournament, Basketball Australia are currently working through the planning process for the event, which includes confirmation of the dates (likely to be around March/April). The event will once again be held in Mackay, QLD. Further announcements from
