Basketball NSW will introduce XPS Network across its Performance Pathways programs in 2026, providing more than 200 State Performance Program (SPP) athletes and coaches as well as our 2026 NSW State teams, with a central platform to manage training load, wellness, communication and platform that encapsulates all our athletes need.

Through the XPS mobile app, athletes will now access training load and schedules, wellness monitoring, testing results, reporting and individual performance plans across boys, girls, and wheelchair pathways.

The rollout began at the SPP Induction Camp in October, where athletes and coaches were taken through how the system supports their daily workflows.

For coaches, XPS brings key tools together including tracking attendance, session planning, workload and wellness tracking, and video analysis. Consolidating these processes is expected to reduce administrative demands and provide clearer visibility of athlete progress across the program.

Basketball NSW, General Manager Coach and Development, Brett Coxsedge said the platform will play an important role in elevating program delivery heading into the SPP term.

“As we continue to refine and elevate our Performance Pathways, it is important for us to adopt a system that enhances both efficiency and the quality of athlete support,” said Coxsedge.

“XPS provides a unified platform that improves communication, centralises our planning and monitoring processes, and gives our coaches greater visibility of athlete development across the state. This implementation positions us strongly for the 2026 season and beyond, and we appreciate the support and guidance the XPS team has provided throughout the transition.”

The introduction of XPS marks a significant step forward for Basketball NSW, supporting a more connected and athlete-focused pathway for everyone in this space.
