Basketball NSW is pleased to announce that Chief Executive Officer of Basketball Australia Ms Jerril Rechter will be one of our keynote speakers at the 2019 State Conference, set for 1-3 November 2019 at the Rydges Mount Panorama in Bathurst.
With an executive-level career spanning over 20 years, Ms Rechter is known as an innovator, a leader and an influencer. Her breadth of career experience spans government and not-for-profit sectors and she has embedded innovation at the centre of organisations she has worked with, playing a significant role in promoting health, well-being, sport and physical activity.
Ms Rechter is a Director of the Western Bulldogs Football Club, an Adviser of the Male Champions of Change National Group, Advisor to the World Health Organisation and recent past Chair of the International Network of Health Promotion Foundations and Chair Justice Health Ministerial Advisory Council.
Her leadership contributions have been recognised in the Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards; Winner, Victorian Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Award (Victorian Government and Academia); Finalist, National NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards; Recognised Top 50 Public Sector Women (Victoria).
