Basketball NSW Appoints Coach Development Manager

Basketball NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of Jarrod Moore to the position of Coach Development Manager.

Jarrod originates from NSW having previously worked at the Penrith and Districts Basketball Association (PDBA) as their Participation Officer. More recently he worked at the Werribee Basketball Association in Victoria as their Basketball Development Officer.

Jarrod is suitably qualified for the role and is eager to commence.

“I’m looking forward to working with everyone in the state to grow this great game and continue the great work that previous Coach Development Manager Shaun Roger established,” said Moore.

Fundamental to the position, is the implementation of basketball coaching development structures at all levels with the goal to improve the overall standard, professionalism, and capacity of coaches and players within NSW.

Basketball NSW General Manager Coaching and Development Brett Coxsedge welcomed Jarrod to the team and said he is set to play an important role in the promotion and ongoing growth of coach education in across NSW.

“Jarrod is an individual who has a passion for the sport of basketball and in particular coach development. His enthusiasm and energy is contagious. We are excited to have him on board,” said Coxsedge.

Jarrod will commence duties in September.
