Basketball NSW are looking for a Competitions Coordinator to join our team.
As a League Competition Coordinator, your role is to facilitate, coordinate and assist with maintaining all Junior league competitions and other events as required. You are also required to actively engage the participating associations throughout the season calendar to strengthen relationships between Basketball NSW and member associations.
DEFINED DUTIES
- Coordination of the representative basketball competition, including managing administration of the League.
- Responsible for the management and publishing of game results.
- Management of individuals registering to participate in the leagues, inclusive of clearances and invoicing.
- Ensuring that all game related information that is published online is correct.
- Management of game change requests, this includes informing other areas of the business to ensure that they are also aware of changes.
- Responsible for all tasks associated with the day-to-day coordination of a competition or event, this includes participant’s records being kept up to date, player eligibility, injury waivers, and other information as required.
- Coordinate the rescheduling of postponed and abandoned games.
- Coordinate and assist with implementation and release of fixtures/draws and competition formats for junior competitions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate, assist and or attend specific functions for events associated with the junior league competitions, including but not limited to Finals Fixtures, Finals Series, State Tournaments, 3 x3 events and League Meetings.
- Coordinate or assist with venue and accommodation bookings.
- Assist with tribunal administration in conjunction with Tribunal Manager as required.
- Any other duties as requested.
