Basketball NSW is the governing body for basketball in New South Wales, Australia. The role of the technical officials is to ensure the game is played in a fair and safe manner and within the rules. Refereeing is the most physical active as they are on-court and “call” the game. Other technical officials perform various roles on the scoretable and statistics and further information about each role is given below.

Each year Basketball NSW enters teams into Basketball Australia's National Championships in the U20's, U18', U16', Wheelchair Basketball and for Players with an Intellectual Impairment.

Injury Report FormRecords that an injury occurred during basketball. This is a safety and record-keeping document for Basketball NSW and your local association. |
Personal Accident Claim FormA separate form lodged with the insurer if you wish to make an insurance claim. Your association must complete their section (top of page 5) before you can submit it. |

Complete the Injury Report FormReport all injuries sustained during basketball activities as soon as possible after the incident. Completing this form helps Basketball NSW monitor and improve safety across the sport. |

Concussion Injuries — Additional RequirementIf your injury involves a concussion, a medical clearance must be obtained before returning to play.
