Every player, parent, coach and referee deserves to enjoy our game safely. Here’s what we stand for, what we’re seeing across NSW, and how to act.
Each month, we release a report that openly outlines integrity, conduct, and member protection matters managed across NSW, reinforcing our commitment to accountability.
We are committed to the wellbeing of the people who deliver the game – our officials and coaches. These reports identify the psychosocial hazards within our environment, the controls in place, and the actions we are taking to make participating in NSW basketball safer for everyone.
Five steps. Clear timeframes. Confidential at every stage.
* Some penalties are not appealable. Where this is the case, we will outline it when advising of the outcome.
Reports are received by our Member Protection team and treated as strictly confidential. Information is shared only on a need-to-know basis to manage the matter.
Yes you can report anonymously.
When making a report via https://basketball.stoplinereport.com/ website, these reports are received and read by the Basketball Australia Integrity staff.
