Unfortunately, this year the John Davidson U12 Jamboree will not proceed. However, a second round of camps will be scheduled in the September school holidays, with other towns targeted to allow more athletes to experience the fun of the Skills Days.

It is hoped that the Jamboree will return in 2022 in a new bigger and better-revamped model.

JOHN DAVIDSON COUNTRY JAMBOREE

Unfortunately, this year the John Davidson U12 Jamboree will not proceed. However, two rounds of the Under 12 Skills Days will return to allow more athletes to experience the fun of the Skills Days. It is hoped that the Jamboree will return in 2022 in a new bigger and better-revamped model.

THE CONCEPT OF JAMBOREE

The Jamboree has been developed to provide junior country basketballers with an enjoyable basketball experience that includes more than just direct head to head competition.

The Jamboree concept includes social activities, coaching clinics, and games.  The focus is not on winning it is participatory and enjoyment of the game that is important at Jamboree. The games have specifically designed rules that cater to the involvement of all players.

Players go into camp and are accommodated at Farrar High School Tamworth, and while parents are invited to come and watch the Jamboree games, players are required to stay overnight with their teammates, coaches, and managers.
