Refereeing is a great way to learn more about the game, earn money and make lifelong friends. Not to mention you get to watch the game from the best place….on the court!

The first step to becoming a referee is to attend the “Community (Level O) Referee Course”. Once completed you can start to referee for your local association. Maybe you want to referee junior representative basketball, or even one day referee in our Molten Waratah Championship League. Who knows, you may one day end up refereeing the WNBL or NBL!

BNSW regularly hold courses at our associations for referees and referee coaches throughout the year. There are various courses and workshops available. No matter your skill level or pathway, BNSW can provide you with the support that you need.

Make sure you keep checking out our site for upcoming clinics and courses.

For Associations & Schools that would like to discuss development and education, please contact the BNSW referee team here to see how we can help you.
