Background

The Dream Hoops 1000 program has been set up to provide financial assistance grants to young people who would like to play basketball for the first time but are unable due to financial restraints.

Value

This grant provides a successful applicant with a $100 voucher that can be used towards Aussie Hoops registration fees and Association domestic competitions registration fees, game fees or uniform costs.

Has not previously been a registered member of Basketball NSW
Be 18 years of age or under

Terms and Conditions

The Basketball NSW Foundation may accept or reject any application for the Dream Hoops 1000 Grant at its absolute discretion.
The grant can only be used towards the associated costs incurred from Aussie Hoops registration fees and Association domestic competitions registration fees, game fees or uniform costs. Money will be paid from the Basketball NSW Foundation accounts to Basketball NSW and the Association to cover these costs. Individuals will not be reimbursed.
The successful Applicant will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The Applicant must meet all eligibility criteria for application and receipt of the grant and promptly notify the Basketball NSW Foundation if they no longer fulfil all eligibility criteria.
At any time following the award of the grant, that the Applicant:
- has provided false or misleading information in the application;
- has not attended, or will not participate in, the nominated games
- has otherwise breached any of its obligations set out in these Terms and Conditions, then Basketball NSW may, by written notice, require the Applicant to repay Basketball NSW, at Basketball NSW’s absolute discretion, all or part of the grant. The amount notified must be repaid within 30 days of any such notice. In addition, Basketball NSW may decline any future grant applications for the Program or any other grant program managed, operated, facilitated or funded by Basketball NSW submitted by the Applicant.
Basketball NSW collects any personal information that is submitted via this application form for the purpose of considering applications for grants and administering the Program.
