Lisa Yen (Chair)

Elected Director

Lisa is a highly accomplished professional, holding the esteemed title of Fellow Chartered Accountant and Graduate Institute of Company Directors. With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, she possesses extensive professional financial expertise, comprising tax, business advisory, and a strong aptitude for commercial acumen. Her breadth of experience encompasses diverse industries and entities.

She has demonstrated her leadership abilities by serving as Chair of a prominent non-profit organisation in the Education sector. Beyond her professional endeavors, she has a passion for sports. Over the years, she has actively coached and managed basketball teams, regularly engaging with the game on a weekly basis.

Lisa is the Chair, Director of IFMG, Chair of Peoples Committee and Member of Facilities Innovation Working Group. She was previously Deputy Chair, Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, Director of Sports Stadium Management and a Member of the Board Nominations Committee.

Lisa was elected for a three year term in 2025 and appointed as Chair in 2024.

Mark Wilks

Mark Wilks is a senior partner at a national law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, with over 25 years of legal experience and currently serving as the head of commercial litigation. Mark is also an experienced Non-Executive Director and Chair. In these roles he has dealt with sensitive governance issues requiring strong stakeholder management and has experience in assisting organisations deliver significant capital works and enhancements to the operations enabling them to thrive.

Having played basketball in his younger days Mark has continued his connection to the sport and through the endeavours of his middle daughter. Mark values the connection that basketball provides to his family and is grateful for the positive attributes that the sport offers, particularly to females in a strong and vibrant community.

Mark is a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and a Director of Sports Stadium Management.

Mark was re-elected to the Board in May 2025.

Anton Brown

Elected Director

Anton is a seasoned executive leader with a strong background in customer experience, marketing, and transformation. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and was recognised with a Dean’s Merit Award for outstanding performance in the Global MBA program at Macquarie Business School.

With over two decades of senior leadership experience across five countries, Anton has built a proven track record in driving growth and transformation. During his time with Virgin, he played a pivotal role in establishing and optimising the global gym brand Virgin Active.

Following his tenure as Chief Experience Officer at Cricket NSW—where he led the organisation’s transformation towards customer centricity across Commercial Operations, Marketing, Big Bash (Sydney Sixers and Thunder), Community Cricket, HR, and Digital & Insights—Anton has continued to apply his expertise in strategic advisory and executive roles.

More recently, Anton has provided strategic consulting to ASX-listed Webjet Group, supporting their brand and marketing transformation. He now serves as Chief Customer Officer at TripADeal, a leading travel company within the Qantas Group, where he is responsible for driving customer growth, experience, and loyalty across the business.

Originally from Cape Town, Anton’s passion for sport began on the basketball court, where he represented his school’s first team. He is the Deputy Chair and Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee and was elected to the Board of Basketball NSW in 2023.

Donna McClelland

Elected Director

Donna is an accomplished senior business leader with over 25 years’ experience across accounting, finance, human resources, and administration. She is currently the Workstream Lead and Product Owner in a large government organisation and was responsible for the successful roll-out of a digital timesheet solution to the workforce, she is no stranger to navigating large and complex projects within a challenging environment.

Donna started her journey in Basketball as a young girl and has dedicated much of her life to the sport. Donna’s passion is matched by her dedication to the sport in a volunteering capacity, Donna is a Referee, Referee Instructor and an Association level Coach and dedicates many hours to the North Eastern Junior League and the BNSW coaching pathway programs. Donna was also the President/Chairperson in an Association for over 8 years and was responsible for reigniting this association, introducing governance and streamlining management practices.

Donna was the inaugural Chairperson and part of the founding committee of the Northern Inland Basketball League, making more opportunities available to grassroots members within New England. She has also been a delegate on the Country Advisory Board for the past 4 years and as part of this role was a member of the BNSW Governance committee that was responsible for the new constitution in 2023.

Donna is looking forward to being a part of the future sustainability of the sport she loves and making sure that anyone, with any ability, can pick up a ball, find a court and realise their dreams.

Alison Brandon

Elected Director

Alison is a senior marketing and communications business leader with 25 years’ experience across strategic, digital, project and corporate marketing and communications, CRM, brand development, media, research, new business, events, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement and corporate affairs.

Alison has held senior positions with leading property, infrastructure and construction groups including Westfield, Lend Lease, Stockland and Qube and currently leads the marketing and communications function as General Manager for Mondiale VGL globally.

She has proven strategic capabilities in driving business transformation in complex industries and is a creative thinker with a strong reputation for delivering project outcomes from conception to implementation.

Further to her executive career, Alison is a Non – Executive Director for Project Youth, where she is the Chair of the Partnerships and Funding Committee.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Property Investment and Finance and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alison was elected to the Board of BNSW in 2024.

Tom Milicevic

Appointed Director

Tom is an experienced finance executive currently Chief Financial Officer with an Australian biotech organisation. Tom’s previous experience has included senior roles with major local and international organisations. He brings significant experience in dealing with and understanding boards through his various corporate roles. He has been responsible for operational and financial performance, developing and executing business strategy, IT, & HR while managing stakeholder needs and working
collaboratively across businesses.

Playing basketball and many other sports in his younger days, Tom’s connection continued through his 3 daughters, all playing basketball. He has seen first hand the benefits team sports like basketball can provide with social connection and confidence and is grateful to be part of the team promoting
Basketball in NSW.

Tom is the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.

Tom was elected to the Board of BNSW to fill a casual vacancy in October 2024.

Joydeep Hor

Appointed Director

Joydeep is the Founder & Managing Principal of People + Culture Strategies (“PCS”), Australia's leading solutions provider in people management law and strategy. In addition to his Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, Joydeep is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Owner-President Management Program. He is a Fellow of AHRI and a Chartered Fellow of the UK CIPD.

Joydeep’s first book Inside Employee Screening was published in 1999 and he has authored several books since that time, including Managing Workplace Behaviour, Managing Termination of Employment and Finders Keepers: A Guide to Attracting and Retaining Great Employees and Labour & Employment Law Manual. He has been a keynote speaker at countless conventions, conferences and industry events and for nearly three decades has been appearing on Australian television programs.
The highly-regarded “Who's Who Legal: Labour, Employment & Benefits” recognises Joydeep as a Global Elite Thought Leader in this area of the law and he is widely considered to be Australia's most high-profile international labour and employment lawyer.

Joydeep was appointed to the Board of BNSW in 2025.
