Q. What is the platform or technology fee?

A. The surcharge you noticed is a technology fee that reflects the exact cost we incur from the payment service provider, which includes fees for processing payments through the platform.

It is important to note that it covers more than just the merchant fees. This fee includes GST and accounts for all payment service provider and bank merchant fees, along with additional costs associated with maintaining and supporting the platform.

Q. Why are the fees are unbundled?

A. The reason the membership fees are unbundled is to ensure that our sport complies with the Competition and Consumer Amendment (Payment Surcharges) ACT 2016 and also for GST, the State fee is GST applicable where the association fee may or may not be GST applicable, it’s subject to whether the association is registered for GST
