The BNSW 2016 Community Growth, held in October this year at the Figtree Conference Centre and was well attended with more than 70 people attending.  The forum focused on U12’s basketball, increasing girl’s participation in basketball as players, coaches, and referees and developing a positive culture at your association.

Our speakers included Oceania President of FIBA’s World Association of Basketball Coaches Michael Haynes, Gosford City Basketball & Sports Stadium Administrator Karen Irwin, Basketball Australia General Manager of High-Performance Jan Stirling and Jerome Parisse-Brassens from Walking the Talk.

Bob Elphinston, Chair of Basketball NSW said ” Three excellent and well-credentialed speakers provided welcome and inspiring advice to the BNSW Community Growth Forum. Growing the game is the objective for all of us – The Forum was a great success”.
