Basketball NSW is excited to see everyone attend the 2023 Coles Express NBL1 East Finals this Saturday the 12th of August. There has been a record number of ticket sales and we expect over 1200 attendees over both games, so it’s important to recognise the timing and processes involved to make sure everyone has a great time.

There are a limited number of parking spaces available at the Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre, which include metered and unmetered parking. Basketball NSW recommends the use of public transport to access the facilities; the closest train station is Redfern Station, being just over 10 minutes away. There are also a number of buses that drop off and pick up right next to the stadium, so use the MyTripPlanner from TransportNSW.

The Poolside Cafe will be in operation before and during both games, located near the main entrance of the Centre, so make sure to grab some food and drink whilst you’re there!

The gates open for the Women’s game at 1:15PM and at 4:25PM for the Men’s. There will be no transactions taken at the venue, but QR Codes will be available to purchase tickets through the Intix Online Platform if there are any seats still for sale. We ask that you have your tickets ready to be scanned at the ticketing desk. You can access your tickets via your InTix account, or via your emails.

Veteran court announcer Eric Stephens will lead the way with excitement and activities across both games. If you are daring to try, collect a lucky door prize ticket on the way in for your chance to shoot a Half-Court shot for $250! We are also giving away a number of NBL1 branded gear, so make sure to cheer loud for your chance to win!

Once the Women’s post game presentations have concluded, anyone without tickets to the Men’s game will need to vacate the stadium to allow for the new spectators to enter. We ask that you please assist venue staff in this process to make it as quick and easy as possible.

Lastly, we hope you have an excellent time. To ensure all patrons are safe and extend the same fun, you will need to abide by the Conditions of Entry and Code of Conduct – Spectators. Please understand that breaching these rules and conditions will result in removal from the event, and suspensions may apply. There is also a ban on illicit substances, cigarettes and e-cigarettes, and alcohol being brought into and/or consumed on premises. Anyone who is suspected to be under the influence may be asked to leave under existing NSW liquor and banned substance laws.

See you there!
